Green Energy Reduces CO2 Emissions (8/8/2001)
Green Electricity is now used at our Coventry site, reducing the impact of the climate change levy and ensuring that we achieve our CO2 reduction target.

At the Kyoto Summit of 1997 the Government agreed to a 12% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2010. Our own target is a 50% reduction (170 tonnes) by the end of this year. Using green energy, from renewable or reusable resources, will reduce our CO2 emissions by almost 36% (160 tonnes) and ensures that we are exempt from the Climate Change Levy.
